Selection Process

The selection process of candidates for the Master’s degree in the Postgraduate Program in Sport Science is carried out every six months, while the Ph.D. is carried out continuously. Candidates with a bachelor degree in Physical Education or similar areas may apply (similar areas will be judged by the Program coordination).

Applications for the selection process can be made according to the dates published on a public notice at the Postgraduate Secretary of the School of Physical Education, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy, located at Av. Antônio Carlos, 6627, 2nd floor, room 07, Campus da Pampulha - CEP 31270-901 - Belo Horizonte (MG), from Monday to Friday, except on holidays and academic recesses, from 8:30 am to 11:30 am and from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

Master’s degree:
The selection for the master’s degree includes:
I. Evaluation of the preliminary research project to be developed;
II. Written test to evaluate the knowledge on topics related to sports science;
III. Presentation of the preliminary research project in the chosen research line followed by oral interview.
